Curriculum

Being that my training is in teaching, at Little Blessings Daycare I want to ensure that the children ages 2 1/2 to 5  in my care are properly prepared for entering Kindergarten. Kindergarten readiness skills include pre-writing skills, fine motor activities, gross motor games, song and dance, etc. As you will see in the Little Blessings daily schedule I include a circle time with the children to enrich their learning.  Durning these times I will be covering months of the year, days of the week, weather, as well as other related curriculum.  The curriculum I will present will include the entire ABC's, numbers 1-20, standard colours, standard shapes, and standard themes such as seasons, apples in September, pumpkins in October, leaves in November, etc. This curriculum will be hands on and multi sensory. It will include songs, dance, crafts, activities, cooking projects, games, and worksheets.
